Stellar nurseries are among the most photogenic areas within the universe. The fuel and mud of those nebulas consist of various components that seem in our telescopes and cameras as quite a lot of colours. The colours can reveal the temperatures of this fuel in addition to the varieties of supplies current. This week we’re on a journey to the Swan Nebula, often known as Omega or M17. Scientists solely not too long ago realized that this nebula was previously two separate objects that merged a while in the past—creating the attribute swan form.
